The Night We Met

The night we met beneath the sky

With stars like whispers, soft and shy

A moonlit glow wrapped round us tight

As shadows danced in gentle light

You walked towards me, a silent song

Each step a beat where hearts belong

The air was thick with something sweet

A fleeting sense of fate replete

We spoke in laughter, words that trailed

Like echoes where our hopes unveiled

The world around us melted slow

In every glance, a spark would glow

Your eyes, two windows, deep and wide

Revealed the dreams you tried to hide

I felt the pull, your tethered soul

A bond unformed, yet feeling whole

The night wore on, the hours flew

With every word, I found you new

The stories shared like whispered fire

Igniting all my deep desire

We wandered paths where shadows played

Through whispered woods, our fears allayed

With every secret, every sigh

The night became our lullaby

As silence wrapped us in its grace

I lost myself within your face

A moment stitched in time's embrace

Where future's hope began to trace

Then in the dark, what felt like fate

With every heartbeat, we relate

I reached for you, and you for me

In that sweet act, we dared to be

The night we met became our lore

A tale of two who wanted more

With every star, our wishes soared

As dreams were spun and hearts adored

In memories, that night remains

A tapestry of joy and pains

A fleeting glance, where once we found

The start of love in echoes drowned

Though paths may lead us far and wide

That night will always be our guide

For in the dark, we found the light

The night we met, our stars ignited bright
